Step 1: Take an old dress that you do not wear any more or have not ever wore it and lay it out flat on a bed, table, or the floor where you have room to work at. |
Step 2: Fold the dress in half by the sides. |
Step 3: Pin down the bottom part of the dress. |
Step 4: Take your shear and cut through the middle of the dress. (Be careful of not making your cut too short for the dress.) Then cut down. |
Here is your final look of a Chinese high and low dress. What I did is I had to long string that you can tie in the back. Instead I took those two strings and made a belt in the front. |
